Purpose of Appeal:  We are appealing vacant building status. Water services were turned back on 08/12/2019 and grass cut.  We do not want this family to be displaced. Our organization took over managing this property on 8/13/2019.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Carolyn Brown to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 811 YORK AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to September 23, 2019 to get Fire C of O reinstated to be released from the Vacant Building program. Revert to Category 1 Vacant Building status, permits can be pulled, and grant a 90 day waiver on VB fee; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
