Making finding on the appealed nuisance abatement ordered for 694 SNELLING AVENUE NORTH in Council Files RLH RR 18-27 & RLH RR 18-35.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 18-27 on July 25, 2018 which granted an extension to December 6, 2018 to abate the nuisance conditions at 694 Snelling Avenue North; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on December 11 and 18, 2018 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated;
WHEREAS, on January 16, 2019 City Council Public Hearing, the City Council adopted RLH RR 18-35 to continue the $5,000 performance deposit and grant an additional 180 days to complete the rehabilitation and receive a Certificate of Occupancy, as an updated workplan and financial information has been provided and approved;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on July 30, 2019 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were abated; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is abated and the matter resolved.
