Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): when the garbage program started, she did not received notice, didn’t know about the contract, but did signed up for the cart size. When Republic bill came, she didn’t know anything about Republic so she thought it was junk mail. Called Republic afterward and they agreed to remove the late fee but didn’t and sent to the City. Called the City couple times, as well. Wants late fee removed.
Staff Comments: The Quarter 1 2019 bill was sent out on 1/5/19. The due date for the Quarter 1 2019 bill was 1/25/19. The property owner did not pay the bill by the due date. The property owner owes the late fee.
