Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): Cost has gone up - was paying approx. $400 for the whole year and not it's approx. $600 per year. The previous company Republic owes me a credit, but I feel like I got it. Because of construction in front of the houses on the block, all the garbage carts on the street are being put out together and other people are putting garbage in my cart. Duplex and not fair to have to have cart for each unit.
Staff Comments: Under citywide garbage service, all residential properties with up to four units, including rental homes and townhomes, are required to have a garbage cart and receive garbage service for each dwelling unit. Property owners must provide garbage service for all occupied dwellings. There is no option to opt out of the citywide garbage service or to share carts.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2019. (File No. CG1902A3, Assessment No. 190103) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
