Ratifying the assessments for Collection of Fire Certificate of Occupancy fees billed during December 13, 2018 to January 11, 2019. (File No. CRT1909, Assessment No. 198209)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 19-600 accepted the Report of Completion for Emergency Boarding and/or Securing of a Structure during February 2019; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on July 17, 2019 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 429 of Minnesota State Statutes and Chapter 40 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendment which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 19-437: 1258 Albemarle Street;
RLH TA 19-XXX: 752 Carroll Avenue; delete for separate considersation; refer back to Legislative Hearing on September 3 @ 10 a.m. and Public Hearing September 18, 2019 and be it further
RESOLVED, that the assessment be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
