Body

WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to apply for a grant from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry for asbestos abatement at Fire Station 22; and

WHEREAS, the total grant amount provided by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry would be $10,000; and

WHEREAS,  the City Council finds that asbestos abatement is a legitiimate govermental purpose for a cceptance of funds; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, the the City Council authorizes the Fire Department to apply for the grant from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.
