Accepting the gift of the cost of room reservation expenses from the University of Saint Thomas for the City of Saint Paul Equity Change Team meeting to be held on Thursday June 20, 2019.

WHEREAS, the University of Saint Thomas has invited the City of Saint Paul to convene it’s meeting on their campus; and
WHEREAS, the space provided by the University of Saint Thomas will comfortably host the seventy plus employees who will gather to discuss how the City of Saint Paul is working to integrate equality and inclusion into how we approach all our work; and
WHEREAS, the University of Saint Thomas has offered to waive the room reservation fee a total value of $1,800; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul find that convening the Equity Change Team at the University of Saint Thomas will be beneficial to the City in building community partnership; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of the cost of room reservation expenses for the Equity Change Team meeting, and thanks the University of Saint Thomas for its generous gift.
