WHEREAS on January 16, 2019, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 18-103 to delete the assessment for Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during February 28 to August 22, 2018. (File No. VB1904, Assessment No. 198803); and
WHEREAS, the property at 1779 Montreal Avenue, being described as: Lane’s Highland Park W 9 Ft of Lot 26 and All of Lot 25 Blk 28, with the property identification number 16-28-23-13-0143 was assessed an amount of $2,284.00; and
WHEREAS, Department of Safety and Inspections staff recommends deleting the assessment as the repairs were completed and a code compliance certificate was issued after one month of its anniversary date;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $2,284.00, plus any accrued interests, be deleted. Council File No. RLH AR 18-103 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
