Title

Creating Residential Permit Parking Area 4 on Concordia Avenue and Carroll Avenue from Pierce Street to Snelling Avenue, and on Pierce Street and Fry Street from Carroll Avenue to Concordia Avenue.

 

Body

WHEREAS, Chapter 164 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code guides the formation and modification of residential permit parking areas; and,

 

WHEREAS, Resolution Number 18-172 established the types, limits, and fees for permits in all residential permit parking areas; and,

 

WHEREAS, a petition signed by 87% of the owners or occupants of properties within the proposed area has been submitted; and,

 

WHEREAS, Public Works staff has investigated the basis for the petition to create Area 4 and recommended adoption of the request changes;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the residential permit parking Area 4 will be created and posted "No Parking 10 am - 10 pm Except by Permit" on the streets defined below and on the attached map:

 

                     South side of Concordia Avenue from Pierce Street to Snelling Avenue

                     North side of Carroll Avenue from Pierce Street to Snelling Avenue

                     South side of Carroll Avenue from Fry Street to 1608 Carroll Avenue

                     East side of Pierce Street from Concordia Avenue to Carroll Avenue

                     Both sides of Fry Street from Concordia Avenue to Carroll Avenue

 

AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the effective date of these parking regulations shall be in effect 30 days after City Council approval or as soon thereafter as signs are erected.
