Expanding Residential Permit Parking Area 8 to include Concordia Avenue, Carroll Avenue, and Iglehart Avenue between Asbury Street and Pascal Street North.

WHEREAS, Chapter 164 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code guides the formation and modification of residential permit parking areas; and
WHEREAS, Resolution Number 18-172 established residential permit parking Area 8 and established the types, limits, and fees for permits in all residential permit parking areas; and
WHEREAS, a petition signed by 85% of the owners or occupants of properties within the proposed area has been submitted; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff has investigated the basis for the petition to expand Area 8 and recommended adoption of the request changes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the residential permit parking Area 8 will be expanded and posted "No Parking Except by Permit" on the streets defined below and on the attached map:
• South side of Concordia Avenue from Asbury Street to Pascal Street North
• Both sides of Carroll Avenue from alley between Snelling Avenue and Asbury Street (1560 Carroll Avenue) to Pascal Street North
• North side of Iglehart Avenue from alley between Snelling Avenue and Asbury Street (1559 Iglehart Avenue) to Asbury Street
• Both sides of Iglehart Avenue from Asbury Street to Pascal Street North
• Both sides of Asbury Avenue from Iglehart Avenue to alley between Carroll Avenue and Concordia Avenue
• East side of Asbury Avenue from alley between Carroll Avenue and Concordia Avenue to Concordia Avenue
AND, BE IT RESOLVED, that the effective date of these parking regulations shall be in effect 30 days after City Council approval or as soon thereafter as signs are erected.
