Authorizing the Police Department to amend the Joint Powers Agreement with the Minnesota State Agricultural Society (State Fair).
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department (SPPD) entered into a Joint Powers Agreement with the Minnesota State Agricultural Society (State Fair); and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the agreement to clearly describe SPPD services for additional events outside the time frame of the State Fair; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that council authorizes the City of Saint Paul to enter into, and Assistant Chief Robert Thomasser to implement the attached amendment of the Joint Powers Agreement with the Minnesota State Agricultural Society.
