WHEREAS, the Taxicab Service Company License held by Blue and White Taxi Service Corporation d/b/a Blue and White Taxi (License ID# 20170002278) for the City of Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend License (“Notice”) dated April 4, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that the Licensee failed to pay delinquent license and late fees and submit copy of his current mechanical inspection form; and
WHEREAS, The Licensing department recommended license suspension and a $500 matrix penalty; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend License to pay the delinquent license and late fees and submit copy of his current mechanical inspection form; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that if the licensee failed to pay the delinquent license and late fees and submit copy of his current mechanical inspection form by April 15, 2019, that the matter would be placed on the May 1, 2019 Council consent agenda; now therefore be it;
RESOLVED, the Taxicab Service Company License by Blue and White Taxi Service Corporation d/b/a Blue and White Taxi (License ID# 20170002278) for the City of Saint Paul is hereby suspended for failure to pay the delinquent license and late fees; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, the licensee is ordered to pay a matrix penalty of $500.00 for failure to submit a copy of his current mechanical inspection form.
FINALLY RESOLVED, Failure to pay delinquent license and late fees and submit required documents within 30 days of the adoption of this resolution will result in immediate suspension of the license.
