Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget by adding $165,000 in Commercial Vitality Zone revenues to the 2019 Sidewalk Reconstruction Program for the Cesar Chavez Pedestrian Improvements.

Body

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works plans to complete pedestrian improvements on Cesar Chavez at Livingston, Congress and Ada as part of the Arlington Pedestrian Improvement Project, which is funded out of the 2019 Sidewalk Reconstruction Program; and

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to add $165,000 of Commercial Vitality Zone funding to the 2019 Sidewalk Reconstruction Program to fund the Cesar Chavez Pedestrian Improvements, as per the agreement between the Department of Public Works and the Department of Planning and Economic Development; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation funds of $165,000; now, therefore be it:

 

RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $165,000 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
