Approving a Liquor Outdoor Service Area (Patio) license with conditions to be added to existing licenses for The Lab, LLC (License ID #20190000157) at 767 Eustis Street, Suite 115.

WHEREAS, The Lab, LLC d/b/a The Lab, LLC (License ID #20190000157) applied for a Liquor Outdoor Service Area (Patio) license for the premises located at 767 Eustis Street Suite 115 in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, The Licensee currently holds a Malt on Sale (Brewery Taproom), Liquor on Sale-Sunday, Entertainment (A), and Malt Off Sale (Brewery) license, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received no objections to approval of the above-mentioned license; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds for denial of the Liquor Outdoor Service Area (Patio) license; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, a Liquor Outdoor Service Area (Patio) license is hereby approve for The Lab, LLC d/b/a The Lab, LLC (License ID #20190000157) for the premises located at 767 Eustis Street Suite 115 in Saint Paul with the following conditions:
1. Per City of Saint Paul Legislative Code 411.02, the definition of Entertainment A is, "Amplified or nonamplified music and/or singing by performers without limitation as to number, and group singing participated in by patrons of the establishment." (includes karaoke). Entertainment A license does not allow for patron and/or performance dances.
2. Licensee acknowledges that the licenses issued only permits the sale, service, display and/or consumption of beer which has been brewed by the licensee on these premises.
3. Beer sale, service, display and/or consumption is limited to the approved indoor and contiguous outdoor patio service area as shown on the approved plan on file with the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI).
4. No beer sale, service, display and/or consumption is allowed outside the approved service area without prior written approval from DSI Zoning, Building, and Licensing Divisions.
