Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): I called Republic again today regarding their payment to the city for the amount paid. I was told again by Republic that they took care of everything with the city and there is no further action necessary. Last two payments were 1/27/19 $77.38 and 10/10/18 $72.66
Staff Comments: When a delinquent balance is turned over to the City, the property owner's account with the garbage hauler will show a zero balance. The City is now responsible for collecting that amount. If a property owner made a payment to their garbage hauler after January 5th, 2019, that payment was applied as a credit on their account. The property owner is still responsible for paying the City any outstanding delinquent balance from Quarter 4 2018.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Trash Hauling during Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during October to December 2018. (File No. CG1901A3, Assessment No. 190056) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
