Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): I paid the fee you claim I owe directly to Republic Services. My garbage collection account is not delinquent according to a representative of Republic Services named Jennifer, as of 3/26/2019. My account with Republic Services is current. I paid Republic for the previous quarter's garbage collection service on February 13, 2019. My next invoice for the first quarter of 2019 is not due until April, 2019. The April invoice has not even been mailed, yet.
Staff Comments: When a delinquent balance is turned over to the City, the property owner's account with the garbage hauler will show a zero balance. The City is now responsible for collecting that amount. If a property owner made a payment to their garbage hauler after January 5th, 2019, that payment was applied as a credit on their account. The property owner is still responsible for paying the City any outstanding delinquent balance from Quarter 4 2018.
