Purpose of Appeal:  I have tried to reschedule an inspection and my calls were not being returned.  Then I got a letter saying the house is in vacant building registration.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Mitch Borgen to a Vacant Building Regristration Notice at 1155 MARION STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 60-day waiver on the vacant building fee and grant 45 days for the Fire Certificate of Occupancy to be reinstated or a code compliance inspection certificate will be required prior to re-occupation; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
