Approving adverse action against the Peddler license held by James E. Carroll for the City of Saint Paul.

WHEREAS, the Peddler license held by James E. Carroll (License ID# 20150002699) for the City of Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend License (“Notice”) dated March 26, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that at the public hearing on February 20, 2019, the Saint Paul Council imposed a $500.00 matrix penalty for two (2) license condition violations documented by DSI Inspectors during a compliance check on August 23, 2018 (RES PH #19-48); and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend License to pay the Council imposed $500.00 matrix penalty or request a public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that if the licensee failed to pay the Council imposed $500.00 matrix penalty or request a public hearing by April 2, 2019, that the matter would be placed on the April 17, 2019 City Council Consent Agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Peddler license held by James E. Carroll (License ID# 20150002699) for the City of Saint Paul is hereby suspended for failure to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty imposed by City Council on February 20, 2019 (RES PH 19-48)
The license will remain suspended until the $500.00 matrix penalty is paid in full.
