Knight Foundation Gift Acceptance

WHEREAS, the Net Inclusion conference is being held in Charlotte, NC from April 1-3, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Knight Foundation has offered to reimburse the Library for the costs of travel, meals, and lodging for one Library staff member; and
WHEREAS, attendance at the conference will further the Library’s strategic direction goals of supporting an inclusive and innovative local economy and igniting curiosity and building skills for an increasingly technology-driven world; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul Public Library Board accepts the gift of registration, travel, meals, and lodging for a Library staff member to attend the conference and thanks Knight Foundation for its generous gift.
