Purpose of Appeal:  When we finished our attic in 2006, we were not informed by our contractor that we needed to pull a permit, and he did not pull a permit.  We know we are responsible for our property, but feel we were not advised correctly.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Bob and Leah Usselman to a Reinspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies at 1210 THOMAS AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to April 2, 2019 to get permits finaled and deny the appeal on the attic space to be used as a bedroom; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
