Purpose of Appeal:  Landlord never notified of not taking care of appeal.  I have always taken care of issues around house and did not notify me of inspector coming.

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Appellant came in to appeal an untimely Summary Abatement Order.  Staff found a Vacant Building Registration Fee Warning Letter, and Legislative Hearing Officer gave staff permission to accept this document to appeal.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Angelica Lopez to a Vacant Building Registration Fee Warning Letter at 1793 MARYLAND AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to April 1, 2019 to get Fire Certificate of Occupancy reinstated or the property must be vacated and remain in the Vacant Building Program; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
