Appeal of Olga Lazareva to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 733 EARL STREET.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, February 12, 2019, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  Due to misunderstanding and miscommunication, the appointment for re-inspection was missed.  All work orders have been completed.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  February 6, 2019

Inspector/Key Staff:  Rich Singerhouse

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Staff took the Application for Appeal on Friday (February 1) on the Revocation of Fire Certificate of Occupancy and Order to Vacate, but the Legislative Hearing Officer said there should be a Vacant Building Registration Notice.  That notice did not appear until today (February 6).

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Olga Lazareva to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 733 EARL STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days pending Fire Certificate of Occupancy is reinstated; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
