WHEREAS, the position of Director of the Department of Emergency Management is currently vacant; and

WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to appoint Rick Schulte to serve as Director of the Department of Emergency Management; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council consents to and approves of the appointment, made by the Mayor, of Rick Schute to serve as Emergency Management Director effective January 28, 2019.
