Appeal of Davi Yang to a Vacant Building Registration Renewal Notice at 1614 SIXTH STREET EAST.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, January 22, 2019, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  I would like to have the Vacant Building fee extended by 3 months to allow for the completion of repairs on the home.  When I purchased this home, I paid the fee once already.  The house is nearing completion of its repairs and will only require further effort that is limited only by my work schedule.

WHEREAS, in the matter of THE Appeal of Davi Yang to a Vacant Building Registration Renewal Notice at 1614 SIXTH STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee until May 6, 2019; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
