Approving the Mayor’s appointment of Kristine Grill to the Planning Commission.
Body
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Administrative Code Section 107.02 states that the Saint Paul Planning Commission shall consist of twenty-one (21) voting members appointed by the mayor, with the consent of the city council; and
WHEREAS, John Reich is currently serving as a member of the Planning Commission with a term ending on January 1, 2021; and
WHEREAS, John Reich has provided notice of his resignation from the Planning Commission effective January 25, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Kristine Grill has applied for consideration for appointment to the Planning Commission and has been recommended by staff for appointment; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to appoint Kristine Grill to the remainder of the term for the seat on the Planning Commission being vacated by John Reich that will end on January 1, 2021; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council consents to the appointment of Kristine Grill to the Saint Paul Planning Commission for a partial term ending January 1, 2021.
