Pertaining to an agreement with AECOM to provide professional services for further refining and investigating the risk of failure of the prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) that serves the potable water distribution network of SPRWS.
Body
WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners desires to obtain professional services required to further refine and investigate the risk of failure to the Board’s distribution system prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP); and
WHEREAS, staff solicited proposals from firms qualified to provide said services, and from such proposers does recommend the firm AECOM Inc. at a cost not to exceed $199,860; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to enter into an agreement with AECOM Inc. to provide said services for such further evaluation and program development described in said proposal; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners hereby requests that City of Saint Paul Contracts and Analysis Division draft an agreement with AECOM Inc. to further refine and investigate the risk of failure to the Board’s distribution system PCCP, as described in the AECOM Inc. proposal of November 7, 2018, at a cost not to exceed $199,860, and to include all other terms and conditions as may be required; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement following approval by the assistant city attorney.
