Title

Pertaining to an agreement with EN Engineering, LLC to provide professional services for external corrosion assessment of the steel segments of the 1924 raw water conduit (M1) between the Board’s Fridley pump station and Lake Charley. 

 

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners desires to obtain professional services required for external corrosion assessment of the steel segments of the 1924 raw water conduit (M1) between the Board’s Fridley pump station and Lake Charley; and

 

WHEREAS, such an assessment will provide the details necessary to design a complete cathodic protection system as a future project; and

 

WHEREAS, staff solicited proposals from firms qualified to provide said services, and from such proposers does recommend the firm EN Engineering, LLC. at a cost not to exceed $89,500; and 

 

WHEREAS, the Board desires to enter into an agreement with EN Engineering, LLC to provide said services for such further evaluation and program development described in said proposal; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners hereby requests that City of Saint Paul Contracts and Analysis Division draft an agreement with EN Engineering, LLC for external corrosion assessment of the steel segments of the 1924 raw water conduit (M1) between the Board’s Fridley pump station and Lake Charley, as described in the EN Engineering, LLC proposal of November 14, 2018, at a cost not to exceed $89,500, and to include all other terms and conditions as may be required; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement following approval by the assistant city attorney.
