Title

Amend the 2019 HRA Parking Enterprise fund budget for RiverCentre consulting services, District 17, Ward 2

Body

WHEREAS, the Planning and Economic Development Department of the City of Saint Paul (PED), is leading efforts on behalf of the City to explore options for replacement of the city-owned RiverCentre parking ramp; and

WHEREAS, expert consultants are needed to accurately study options and make carefully-considered recommendations, and

WHEREAS, the Parking Enterprise Fund has fund equity reserves available for RiverCentre parking ramp needs; and

WHEREAS, the 2019 HRA budget needs to be amended to include these consulting services for the RiverCentre parking ramp; and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota that the 2019 HRA Parking Enterprise Fund budget be amended, as shown in the attached financial analysis to include the following consulting services: (1) $75,000.00 for a technical advisor, (2) $100,000.00 for parking ramp structural analysis, and (3) $125,000.00 for preliminary design work; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director and staff of the HRA are authorized and directed to take all actions needed to implement this resolution.
