Accepting a grant from Seventhwave to participate in an integrated controls pilot in 2019 with funding from the Department of Energy.

WHEREAS, Seventhwave will provide a complete lighting retrofit along with the associated controls; and
WHEREAS, Seventhwave will pay the City of Saint Paul $34,500 to offset a portion of the retrofit charge; and
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul will receive a 10% discount on all Cree product materials related to the retrofit; and
WHEREAS, this technology will reduce the heating, cooling, and fan energy costs within the traffic building; and
WHEREAS, a 2019 budget amendment will establish the poject budget; now therefore be it
RESOLVED; that the Council of the City of Saint Paul accepts the grant from Seventhwave to retrofit the traffic building.
