Amending the financing and spending plan in the Department of Parks and Recreation’s CIB Capital Maintenance budget by transferring a total of $28,000 from 2016 and 2017 CIB Contingency funds into the Merriam Park Recreation Center new roof project.

WHEREAS, bids were sought for a new roof for the Merriam Park Recreation Center project and there is a need for additional funding for the project; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to transfer $12,414 from 2016 and $15,586 from 2017 Capital Maintenance Contingency to add to $72,000 in existing funds dedicated to the new roof project at the Merriam Park Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, in accordance with Section 10.07.1 of the City Charter, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $28,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2018 Capital Maintenance finance and spending plan; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, that $28,000 is available for appropriation in the 2018 Capital Maintenance finance and spending plan, as heretofore adopted by the Council, is hereby further amended in the particulars as indicated in the attached financial analysis.
