Appeal of Nancy Eserkaln to a Vacant Building Registration Renewal Notice at 1034 CHATSWORTH STREET NORTH.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, August 7, 2018, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  Property is being remodeled & updated.  Several building permits have been opened (and closed post inspection).  In Aug 2017, we applied for building permit but had to pay water first.  We paid water in full, obtained building permits, but VB was not lifted as we were told it would be.  Difficulty locating tradespeople has slowed progress but it is happening (see attached).

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Looks like determination was made in 2012 & 2017 this was not a C of O property.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Nancy Eserkaln to a Vacant Building Registration Renewal Notice at 1034 CHATSWORTH STREET NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and allow permits to be pulled; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
