Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: Note property taxes still unpaid and property has not transferred to heirs. I'll called SMRLS to let them know about the appeal. They have been in contact with Lavonne Louismet Deyo, who is now in assisted living. They continue to be willing and able to help with probate. I think the main problem is the unpaid tax bill (>$6,500). -MM

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Jenny Louismet to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 132 WESTERN AVENUE SOUTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
