Title

Approving a revision to the vacation of streets and alley, as petitioned by the State of Minnesota and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, d/b/a St. Paul College, by amending the legal description in St. Paul City Council File RES PH 17-300 and as referenced to St. Paul City Council File RES 18-292.

 

Body

WHEREAS, various street and alley rights-of-way were vacated by Saint Paul City Council File RES PH 17-300, approved October 18, 2017, and referenced in St. Paul City Council File RES 18-292, approved March 14, 2018, recorded copies of which are attached hereto ("Vacation Resolution and amendment); and

 

WHEREAS, the surveyor representing the above-mentioned petitioner, the City Surveyor for St. Paul Public Works and the Ramsey County Examiner of Titles, have recommended that a revision to the legal description in said Vacation Resolution and amendment is needed; so therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that Exhibit "A" attached to St. Paul City Council File File RES 17-300 and as referenced to in St. Paul City Council File RES 18-292 are herby replaced with Exhibit "B"; and be it further

 

RESOLVED, that upon passage of this resolution, the proper officials are hereby authorized and directed to record a copy of same in the office of the Ramsey County Recorder and/or Registrar of Titles, and that the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section shall maintain on file a copy of the this resolution, along with said Vacation Resolution and admendment, and be it further

 

RESOLVED, that, along with this resolution, all other terms and conditions contained said Vacation Resolution and admendment shall remain in full force and effect, and to fully incorporate the same into and from the date of this resolution.
