Title

Appeal of Janette Hillard to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 466 SARATOGA STREET SOUTH.

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, September 18, 2018, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  Janette is 84 years old.  She didn't understand the severity of the notices she was receiving.  She didn't contact her family about them.  The notice sent on 8-27-18 was received on 8-31-18 due to the need to be forwarded because she was no longer living in St. Paul.  (Also see letter from daughter.)

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  August 27, 2018

Inspector/Key Staff:  Matt Dornfeld

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Daughter writes that the owner does not live in Saint Paul and lives with the daughter; however there is no contact information included for the daughter.  Staff called the number listed on the application and left a message with the owner about the Legislative Hearing.  Also, the appeal information will be mailed to the owner.  According to the application, the mail is forwarded, but the forwarded address was not included with the application.  A different phone number listed in STAMP is "not in service." -rrn
