Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Police Department Grant Fund in the amount of $100,000 for the use of fund balance.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department finds it necessary to amend the 2018 budget in the Police Grant funds, making adjustments for use of fund balance in the Police St. Paul Police Foundation activity; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $100,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2018 budget; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 2018 budget; now

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Police Department financing and spending plan is amended and the City Council approves the changes to the 2018 budget as specified in the attached financial analysis.
