Purpose of Appeal:  New owners as of 10/5/2018.  Did not know about the notices.  Willing to repair issues cited, also do not want to remove existing tenants as they have no where to go.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  October 4, 2018 and October 5, 2018 respectively

Inspector/Key Staff:  Tom Friel

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Appeal is withdrawn.  Fire inspector has rescinded the Order and working with new owners to bring the repairs into compliance in 30 days.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Lee Yang to a Vacant Building Registration Notice and Summary Abatement Order at 872 PAYNE AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council [recommendation]; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
