Title

Ratifying the assessments for Property Clean Up services May 2 to 14, 2018. (File No. J1814A, Assessment No. 188543)

Body

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 18-1074 accepted the Report of Completion for Property Clean Up on Private Properties during the time period of May 2 to May 14, 2018; and

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on October 3, 2018 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter and Chapter 60 of the Administrative Code, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:

RLH TA 18-471:  660 Case Avenue;

RLH TA 18-483:  719 Case Avenue;

RLH TA 18-527:  571 Earl Street;

RLH TA 18-493:  1047 Fourth Street East;

RLH TA 18-481:  372 Fry Street;

RLH TA 18-484:  1216 Hewitt Avenue;

RLH TA 18-475:  940-942 Ivy Avenue East;

RLH TA 18-513:  757 Jessamine Avenue East;

RLH TA 18-491:  1127 Margaret Street;

RLH TA 18-472:  1579 Margaret Street;

RLH TA 18-464:  1015 McLean Avenue;

RLH TA 18-485:  684 Sims Avenue;

RLH TA 18-511:  1024 Third Street East; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
