WHEREAS, the Second Hand Dealer license application submitted by Thrifty Nifty, LLC d/b/a Thrifty Nifty (License ID #20180002916) for the premises located at 741 University Avenue West in Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Deny License dated September 6, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the Notice stated that during a criminal history check as part of the license application process, it was discovered the applicant had several convictions between 1992 and 2015 that she failed to disclose on the Personal Affidavit she submitted with her license application; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code § 310.06 (6)(2), the licensing office recommended denial of the Second Hand Dealer license; and
WHEREAS, the licensee responded to the Notice of Intent to Deny License with a request for a public hearing which was scheduled on October 3, 2018; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Second Hand Dealer license application submitted by Thrifty Nifty, LLC d/b/a Thrifty Nifty (License ID #20180002916) for the premises located at 741 University Avenue West in Saint Paul is hereby denied.
