Purpose of Appeal: I am appealing for more time to complete the required repairs due to the financial hardship involved. Preliminary estimates for the roof/facia items referenced in the letter alone total more than $15,000. I am awaiting hard copies of these estimates and could provide copies to the court once they have been received.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Evan Bibbee to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 1060 MATILDA STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to October 1, 2018 for the remaining items except for Items 1, 5, 6 and 7 which is granted to June 1, 2019. the extension for window repair/replacement (Item 7) is conditioned on temporary replacement to ensure windows stay open and will latch; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
