Date/Time of 1st LH:  August 14, 2018, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  The previous tenant in this rental property vacated in May.  The landscaper that manages the exterior was sent off on military orders soon after (without having an opportunity to notify me).  The growth of the yard and short-term vacancy between tenants led to the image of vacancy.  However, the yard is now back under management and I am currently searching for the next tenant.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Mark Johnson to a Vacant Building Registration Fee Warning letter at 559 DESNOYER AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal, noting inspector will revisit this in mid-October; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
