Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Vehicle licenses for #1391, #1392, #1395 and #3634 held by Waleed Ahmed Sonbol, d/b/a Blue & White Service Corporation (License ID# 20090001909, #20090001911, #20090003037 and #20110000728).
Body
WHEREAS, the Taxicab Vehicle licenses for #1391, #1392, #1395 and #3634 held by Waleed Ahmed Sonbol d/b/a Blue & White Service Corporation (License ID# 20090001909, #20090001911, #20090003037 and #20110000728) for the City of Saint Paul were the subject of a Notice of Intent to Revoke Licenses dated August 17, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the licensee failed to submit current inspections for taxicab #1391, #1392, #1395 and #3634 as required by Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.11 (h)(1); and
WHEREAS, the licensing office recommended revocation of taxicab licenses for vehicle #1391, #1392, #1395 and #3634; and
WHEREAS, revocation of the licenses for taxicab #1392, #1395 and #3634 will then bring the licensee below the minimum of five (5) taxicabs required to operate in Saint Paul per Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c)(1); and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Revoke Licenses to request either a public or administrative hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Revoke License stated that if the licensee failed to request either a public or administrative hearing by August 27, 2018, that the matter would be placed on the September 12, 2018 consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Taxicab Vehicle licenses for #1391, #1392, #1395 and #3634 held by Waleed Ahmed Sonbol d/b/a Blue & White Service Corporation (License ID# 20090001909, #20090001911, #20090003037 and #20110000728) for the City of Saint Paul are hereby revoked.
