Purpose of Appeal: This is a group home for Developmentally Delayed Adults and has been since 1987. We have had numerous fire inspections and have never been cited for any violation with our washer and dryer being within 36 inches of the electrical box or have been asked to move it.

WHEREAS, in the matter of appeal of Jennifer Fredricks to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Inspection Correction Notice at 835 THIRD STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal on conditions that reflective letters are onto the electrical panel, no storage on top of dryer or on the floor near the dryer; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
