WHEREAS on October 4, 2017, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 17-66, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Towing of Abandoned Vehicle services during January to December 2016. (File No. J1701V, Assessment No. 178000); and
WHEREAS, the property at 0 University Avenue West, being described as: Lot 2 Block 1 of CENTRAL VILLAGE ADDITION THAT PART LYING BETWEEN THE FOL DESCRIBED LINES; TWO LINES RUNNING PAR WITH AND DISTANT 31 FT AND 100 FT WLY OF A LINE 79 FT WLY OF THE MOST ELY LINE AND BETWEEN TWO LINES RUNNING PAR WITH AND DISTANT 18.5 FT AND 52 FT NLY OF A LINE DRAWN 108.92 FT WLY ALONG THE S LINE STARTING FROM A POINT 79 FT WLY OF THE SE CORNER OF LOT 2 BLK 1, with the property identification number 36-29-23-32-0103 was assessed an amount of $1924.26; and
WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services staff recommends deleting the assessment because this was assessed to the wrong parcel ID number;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $1924.26, plus any accrued interests, is deleted and the Offices of Financial Services will abate this reduction from the 2018 Property Taxes Statement and re-assess to the correct Parcel ID 36-29-23-32-0102/554 University Avenue West. Council File No. RLH AR 17-66 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
