Purpose of Appeal: Ms. Gustafson turns 74 next week and lives with disabilities, specifically arthritis and depression. She requests that the vacate order be rescinded in the light of current and ongoing progress in the property attaining compliance while she receives services and supports from family, the HouseCalls program, the PHA arranges extermination services, and the PHA addresses her request to transfer to a housing environment that better meets her disability-related needs.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Laura Orr, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, on behalf of Sandra Gustafson, to a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection (which includes condemnation) at 899 CLEVELAND AVENUE SOUTH, UNIT 512, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant appeal to reoccupy the unit on condition that appellant cooperates with the extermination and continued efforts to de-clutter her unit; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
