Honoring Patricia Lilledahl for her eighteen years of service to the City of Saint Paul and the Department of Planning and Economic Development.

Whereas, Patty Lilledahl has spent the last 18 years of her 38 year career with the City of Saint Paul beginning as a housing project manager and progressing to the west team leader, economic development director and currently as its housing director, in the City’s Department of Planning and Economic Development; and
Whereas, throughout her career Patty has used creative and innovative thinking to solve complicated housing and commercial issues facing the City of Saint Paul, and provided valuable advice to the Mayor and City Council and mentored staff members under her direction; and
Whereas, Patty was instrumental in the construction of many important housing, commercial, and mixed used projects including Ames Lake, Jamestown, BROWNstone, Hamline Station, and Dorothy Day, and creation of programs including the Jobs Bill Program, Inspiring Communities Program, Green Line Betterments, and Ready 4 Rail program; and has been a leader in furthering the City’s fair housing working group; and
Whereas, Patty has brought keen insight, integrity, concentrated purpose and incredible energy to her many positions, accomplishing work that bettered the lives of the residents of Saint Paul and the surrounding region; and
Whereas, Patty has now chosen to embark on the next chapter of her life and devote more time to reading, traveling and enjoying life with her husband Tom and their two children; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, in grateful and sincere recognition for her eighteen years of dedicated public service to the City of Saint Paul and many achievements, the Saint Paul City Council hereby honors Patricia Lilledahl this Twenty Fifth day of July in the Year Two Thousand Eighteen; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby proclaims Wednesday July 25, 2018 to be Patricia Lilledahl Day in the City of Saint Paul.
