Amending the financing and spending plans in the Police Department in the amount of $147,805 for the 2018 Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development grant.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department was awarded and accepted the Law Enforcement Career Path Academy grant from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (RES 18-759); and
WHEREAS, the grant contract includes an indemnification clause; and
WHEREAS, the 2018 financing and spending plan needs to be amended and activity budget added for these funds; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $147,805 in excess of those estimated in the 2018 budget and recommends the following changes; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves these changes to the 2018 budget and the contract which includes an indemnification clause.
