Authorizing the Police Department to enter into an amended Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County for the Violent Crime Enforcement Team.

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD) has entered into the Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County for the Violent Crime Enforcement Team (02-17064-I) and has been amended to include extensions and changes to the agencies; and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County is amending the agreement once again to add the City of Mounds View as a member of the Ramsey County Violent Crime Enforcement Team; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council approves the amendment and authorizes the Saint Paul Police Department to implement the amended Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County.
