Title

Authorizing acceptance of a Dedication of Easement for Right-of-Way Purposes for a portion of proposed Myrtle Avenue as part of the development of new housing at the Weyerhauser site on the Minneapolis/St. Paul border.

 

Body

WHEREAS, on January 25, 2018 the City of Saint Paul, Department of Safety and Inspections, conditionally approved a site plan for residential housing in the area bounded by Franklin Avenue, Emerald Street, proposed Myrtle Avenue and west of Curfew Street; and

 

WHEREAS, a condition of site plan approval was that the property owner south of the housing development dedicate a right-of-way easement along the southerly edge of said residential development (part of proposed Myrtle Avenue); and

 

WHEREAS, the housing developer has secured an executed Dedication of Easement for Right-of-Way Purposes, as provided in Exhibit A; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council of the City of Saint Paul do hereby authorize acceptance of said Dedication of Easement for Right-of-Way Purposes, as provided in Exhibit A, and direct and authorize recording of the same with the Ramsey County Recorder's Office and/or Registrar of Titles.
