Approving a waiver of the 45-day notice requirement to issue a Liquor-Off Sale Microdistillery license with conditions to Studio Distilling, LLC, d/b/a Studio Distilling (License ID #20150002563) at 2380 Wycliff Street.

WHEREAS, Studio Distilling, LLC d/b/a Studio Distilling (License ID #20150002563) applied for a Liquor-Off Sale Microdistillery license for the premises located at 2380 Wycliff Street, Suite 140; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received a letter from St. Anthony Park Community Council/District 12 in support of a waiver of the 45-day notice requirement and approval of a Liquor-Off Sale Microdistillery license; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received no objections to the waiver of the 45-day notice requirement or approval of a Liquor-Off Sale Microdistillery license; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds for denial of the waiver of the 45-day notice requirement or approval of a Liquor-Off Sale Microdistillery license now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, a waiver of the 45-day notice requirement is granted and a Liquor-Off Sale Microdistillery license is hereby issued to Studio Distilling, LLC d/b/a Studio Distilling (License ID #20150002563) for the premises located at 2380 Wycliff Street, Suite 140 with the following conditions:
1. The off-sale of distilled spirits is restricted to the sale of one 375 milliliter bottle per customer per day of product manufactured on-site. Off-sale hours must conform to hours of sale for liquor off-sale businesses, per City of Saint Paul ordinance. No brand may be sold at the micro-distillery unless it is also available for distribution by wholesalers.
2. No on-sale cocktail room sales activity may take place unless prior written authorization and additional licensure is obtained from the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI). This condition restriction does not include sampling of product in accordance with Minnesota State Statute 340A.22.
