Appeal of Chad VanVeldhuizen to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1570 STILLWATER AVENUE.

Purpose of Appeal:  I have been unable to get in the house due to maritial difficulties since Feb. 8.  However, I will be able to get in the house after today (April 11).  I will be able to take care of the issues in the house which made it become Category 2.  My family was able to go over to the house during the past week to take care of the Abatement issues.

WHEREAS, in the matter of appeal of Chad VanVeldhuizen to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1570 STILLWATER AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council change vacant status from Category 2 to 1 and waive the vacant building fee for 90 days; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
